FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT HOMECARE COSTS:

1.    Will my insurance cover the costs?

Most health insurances will cover a portion, if not all, of the cost of homecare services.  The amount that is covered will depend on the type of insurance you have and the services that will be provided.  You should contact your individual insurance company directly to determine the level of homecare coverage you are provided.

2.   If my insurance company doesn't cover the costs, can I set up a payment plan?

Yes, Professional Home Nursing allows patients to set up a payment plan.  Payment plans are set up on an individual case by case basis.   Each homecare agency has their own policies about payment plans, so if you are using another homecare agency you should contact them directly to ask if they offer payment plans.

3.  Will the insurance company be billed directly from the homecare agency?

Yes, Professional Home Nursing directly bills the patient's insurance company.  As mentioned in question number 2, each homecare agency has their own billing procedures so they should be contacted directly in order to determine if they direct bill insurance companies.
